LIFE-CHAIN - Details

Durban
City Hall steps Saturday, October 3 10:00am - 12:30pm Dr Albie van Eeden 031-306 0972
About 300 people gathered outside the City Hall, and heard some opening addresses before forming the chain down West Street between Field and Gardiner streets.  A key feature was the fact that abortion wounds women, as well as killing babies.  Father Massimo Biancalani spoke about the lack of provision by the govrnment for alternatives to abortion, and the need for all people to vote in next year's election according to their conscience on vital issues of life.  Sister Christa-Mary spoke on the difficulty faced by nursing staff in the current climate, and a final benediction was given by Archbishop Wilfred Napier.
